The installation consists of two encased underground high standard steel tanks with a capacity of 100 cubic meters each. To ensure the safe storage of the product they have been sandblasted and internally quad-coated with four separate rust-deterrent dyes.

Furthermore, the tanks have water separators and traps controlled by an external pump, floating suctions, strainer type filters during filling and withdrawal of the product and for an extra security measure the tank holds a reserve of 3000 liters at all times, that are never sucked in by the main pump that loads the tankers. Also, both pump, and piping are stainless steel type 316. Designed to the strictest standards, the plant can even accommodate JET A1 type aviation fuel.
